This website is built with a privacy-first approach: no cookies, no tracking, and no unnecessary data collection.

Types of Data Processed:

Legal Basis:

Personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). National data protection laws, such as the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), also apply, particularly with regard to information rights, deletion requests, objections, and the processing of employee data (§ 26 BDSG).

Security Measures:

Appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk. These include safeguards for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data (e.g. access controls, TLS/HTTPS encryption) as well as procedures for data subject rights, deletion, and incident response.

Provision of Online Services and Web Hosting:

To deliver the online offering, usage data — particularly IP addresses — may be processed. External hosting services are utilized for this purpose. Server access is logged (e.g. requested pages, timestamps, IP addresses) for security reasons and is deleted or anonymized after a maximum of 30 days, unless retention is required for evidentiary purposes.

Cookies

No cookies are used on this website. Third-party content such as YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud, or Bandcamp may be embedded. These services are blocked by default and require active user consent to load. Cookies may be set by these services only after consent is given.

Web Analytics

This website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly, open-source web analytics service, to better understand how the site is used and to improve its content. Umami operates without cookies and does not collect or store any personal data. All information is aggregated and anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual visitors, nor is it shared with third parties. The data collected may include the pages viewed, the referring website, and the approximate region, browser, and device type derived from a non-personal, anonymized request. Processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the statistical analysis and secure operation of this online offering. As no cookies are set and no personal data is processed, no consent is required.

Map Services

This website embeds interactive maps to display locations. The map tiles (the background images of the map) are loaded from external servers when a page containing a map is opened. In the process, your IP address and technical request data (browser type, time of access) are transmitted to the respective provider — without this transfer the map images cannot technically be delivered. No cookies are set by the map services and no tracking takes place. Processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in an appealing presentation of locations and our offering. The following map providers are used:

  • OpenStreetMap — OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom
  • CARTO — CartoDB Inc., New York, USA (basemap tiles; certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework)
